The full Irish breakfast was a real treat, with perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and sausages to kick-start the day. Plus, the owners were pretty good, offering us assistance with our ferry schedule and keeping everything super clean during our short visit-it reminded me of home! We'll definitely be back for more culinary adventures in Carlingford!
There was only one thing slightly off, the heating was a bit iffy due to a radiator needing to be bled. But honestly, the cozy ambiance and lovely hosts made sure we hardly noticed it-everything else shined bright!

The rooms where immaculately clean, with private bathroom. The staff was accommodating and affable and the host too. The location was marvellous and perfect, in conservatory looking out at beautiful garden.

Cozy, quiet, great staff. Catered for gluten free toast for breakfast.
Further from town than we expected.

The spacious room and cozy setting were perfect after our hikes, especially around the East Greenway coastal path and the charming medieval streets. Breakfast was a highlight, and the views from the sunroom made every morning special. Great spot for exploring local history.
We had some trouble finding the B&B on the first evening, even with sat nav. It made our arrival a bit stressful.

Bed room and bathroom very clean and comfortably furnished . room was warm and v comfortable ..Heating was very available lovely generous facilities for tea and coffee . Owners /Hosts very friendly and helpful and drove me to local town and offered again on my 2nd day,
Entry way and stairs a little dated also landing area as bedrooms were very well furnished and tastefully so . Breakfast area was in a conservatory with magnificent views but for some reason lacked the same charm and warmth as bedrooms

central base for exploring carlingford's beautiful parks and historic sites
during my stay, i enjoyed a spacious room with comfy beds and a good breakfast served in a sunroom with fine views of the surrounding hills, making it a perfect spot to recharge before heading out to explore local landmarks like the dominican friary and kilwirra church ruins, all within easy walking distance.

Lyn, the owner, was extremely kind. She went out of her way to give my boyfriend and I a lift to and from the town and also let us check out a little later free of charge. The room was very comfortable with a lovely comfy bed, perfect for winter nights, well heated and had great country side views. Breakfast was cooked perfectly with additional fresh fruit salad, a range of cereals, yoghurts and croissants. This was served in the lovely conservatory overlooking the mountains. Very peaceful. Mourneview is substantially cheaper than staying in town and only a half an hour walk max into town and 7 Euro taxi ride so I think it is worth staying here, especially if you drive. Will be back in future (hopefully I'll have my licence by then!). Thanks again for all your hospitality.
Overall I can't fault anything. It is one of the most comfortable and friendly B&Bs I have ever stayed in.

The owners were really nice. The B&B is about 5 minutes drive out of Carlingford, and the owners dropped us in so we didn't have to get a taxi both ways. Would definitely stay again if ever going to another wedding in Carlingford.

Have not stayed in a b & b for a long time. Mourneview surpassed everything I expected. House very tastefully decorated. A room available for tv, relaxation etc. Bedrooms & ensuite spotless, bed linen of a very high quality and bed extremely confortable. A really nice Conservatory where we had breakfast. Excellent views all around. Lovely to look out and see the sheep and lambs in field next door. A variety of birds also feeding outside Conservatory. The very large gardens are extremely well maintained. Mourneview is a little way outside Carlingford and as one of our party had a leg injury would not have been able to walk to Carlingford where we had a reservation for dinner so we asked could we phone for a taxi - Lyn - the Proprietor - insisted on driving us in which was really accommodating. Am looking forward to staying at Mourneview again sometime in the future

The room was very clean with en-suite, tv and tea/coffee facilities. The owner of the B&B Lynn is very welcoming and all staff are accomodating.
The B&B itself is very nice and I would stay again but the location is a bit further out of the village than I was expecting and there were no taxis.
